Showstorm fun, Kindergarten "Moving up" ceremony, summer's here!

Me and Anaya posing for our own screen on mom's cellphone. Anaya is surprised as to why I am smiling so sweetly.

We had a few snowstorms and got a sled. I loved it, and it doubled as a pull-ride toy on the carpet for Anaya and me in all seasons!

Me at the JCLacrosse class in spring, still too cold to play lacrosse!

This is how I decided to dress up for the last day of Kindergarten.

I am now a green belt in Taekwondo!

I can write!

I have been zooming through Kindergarten. I have started doing Math and English at Kumon and am finally loving it. I didn't like it in the beginning but its better now and thanks to Kumon I am getting great at my school work.

This is what my schedule is like nowadays:
7.45 am- wake up
8.15-8.20 am - go to school
3 pm - Winchelle picks me up from school, straight to Kumon
3.30 pm Kumom
5 pm get back home, shower, go pick Anaya up (I follow Winchelle on my bike)
I go to taekwondo 3 times a week at 5.
6 pm - dinner, play with Anaya
8 ish pm- read my book, bedtime

I am now a yellow belt at taekwondo!

My favorite song is Pungi from Agent Vinod (This is ever since my kakas danced on it in Nafis engagement). I am quite a fan of all new hindi songs that my parents show me. I have even got Anaya hooked onto them.

Kindergarten, Im ready!!

I have had a fabulous time at Pre-K4. I took the OLSAT test last year and got a 99th percentile when I was 5.

Summer is coming to an end! I signed up for a reading class this past summer and was comfortable enough reading and doing exercises at a grade level higher, in the frist grade class. Mom got me a two-wheeled scooter as a present and I take it everywhere with me!

My nani and nana visited me and nana was a little upset that mom got me a scooter before I learn to ride my bicycle. I did a bit of biking with Winshelle, taking off from the inclined ramp by our building. All I needed is just 30 minutes with kaka and recently when I visited him he got me confident so I start pedalling the pedal that is higher and I no longer need to doggy walk the bike any longer to start kicking the padals. I am an expert biker now thanks to Kaka!! I was showing off my bike to my dadi dada when they visited me recently and take it pretty much everywhere.

Summer was great. I did a summer session at SIG(Summer Institure for the Gifted) and then three sessions at Next Step Broadway, a performing school. Here are some snippets from my shows. I had my friends Anne Marie, Sibel and Ziv Shah with me in these so it was good I knew someone in all the sessions I took. The performances at the end of the two-week sessions was a lot of fun and parents were invited to see us perform.

Funny Mommy

I have a sense of humor now.

This incident happened when I was in Pre-K 3 some time back. Mom picked me up from school and was driving me back home. At this time I usually open my lunchbox and take care of the leftovers. My school asks us to slice our grapes to avoid choking. While eating my leftover grapes I giggled saying "funny mommy - you forgot to cut one of the grapes!"

My first choreographed dance performance!

Our families applauded this performance in this one with my frinds Syra and Prabha. This was after a lot of practise with my dance teacher Miss Shen. I think I have come a long way since my "Desi Girl"

Holi!

This year we celebrated Holi in my school by carefully putting color on our friends faces. It was so exciting!
