Potty training success!

Anaya is here!



I have been busy with my new sister for the last month and a half, she just turned 6 weeks old. Big brother means a lot of responsibilities. It is my job to sing Anaya a nursery rhyme when she is upset or dispose off her wet or dirty diaper in the diaper genie when mom changes her. Here is one of my favorite pictures of me with mommy and Anaya the day we got her home from the hospital. She is just 3 days old here, isnt she tiny?



My new school opened recently and I have been going there three times a week, 8.30 am to 1 pm since the beginning of November. I love my new school. The classes are great, I have great friends and teachers there. I am always learning something new and I love coming home and telling mommy what I did in school today.

I am SUCH a big boy now. Yay! I had some success in potty training as the teacher in my school told mommy my diaper had remained dry all day and I was ready to try some exciting new underwear! I always told my teachers when I needed to go to the bathroom and they were all very proud of me. Mommy got me some Diego underwear which I love wearing to school!

My new bike!

My kaki and kaka surprised me with a new bike recently! Its a big boy bike, two wheels with small supporting wheels on the rear wheel, complete with helmet and knee pads. This was at a perfect time as weather is great and my new house is just by this awesome boardwalk by the river which is a great place to practise. The first day I could not pedal completely but I got a hang of it by the end of day 2. I am now a champion. The fact that I did not know how to apply breaks was a problem and I had a few falls but now I am learning i am safe if I am slow. This picture is from papas phone but I promise to upload a better picture soon!

I love it when someone takes me out biking and am learning new stuff quickly. I recently learnt how to slow down, apply breaks and stand up and pedal when the ground is uneven.

I got a new spiderman electric toothbrush and I love it! Mom and dad cant believe how clean my teeth have got ever since. I was so excited when I got my toothbrush, I brushed my teeth 4 times a day - 3 times in the night and once in the morning. I just got a set of new molars , now I have 4 of them.



I recently went to a farm to pick apples.





Boy, was it exhausting!



They had a petting zoo too!

Baby Baby!

Hi! So Im gonna be a big brother now! Mommy told me Im getting a baby sister and I am so excited about teaching her things and changing her diapers. We have named her Anayah for now and I kiss her on mommys tummy everyday. I have also gotten a lot more independent now, sleeping on my own in my room in my new house. My first few nights on my own in the crib in my room were a struggle, I would wake up a few times in the night and cry because I couldnt get out of my crib and couldnt see mom or papa around. However, after we made some changes I now sleep with my mattress on the carpet and I sleep through the night.

I have been very helpful with errands around home - with the laundry, kitchen or cleaning up. I do everything mommy asks me to do and she says I am a good boy now. I understand she cant carry me with the baby and am ok with being in the stroller when we go out and ask papa when I need to be carried.

The sun is finally here!

YAY! I am now getting to go out a lot more and enjoy the sun.

I have been becoming independent, I love wearing my diaper, pants, socks and shoes.
I also know what I want and can ask for it. Now when papa starts singing funny songs I smile and ask "Papa what are you singing?!?!" My parents are stumped and not sure where I learnt to put together so many new words.



I recently went to the circus. It was a lot of fun playing dress-up before the show started, and I loved seeing all the aninals!

Two years old!

I just had my second birthday.. Ive come a long way, though everyones saying it just feels like yesterday that they used to hold me in a pillow since I was too delicate for hands.

I got some awesome gifts, man I wish birthdays came more often! My aunts and uncles gifted me my first car! I also got some cool puzzles, a basketball and a toy dog that I love to put to sleep.

Life is full of changes. Shortly after my birthday I started going to school. I cry a little when mom leaves but shortly after that I am playing with my friends or enjoying a trip to the park. I fuss about eating but mom manages to pack me some blueberries or raisins that I manage to eat. I can name all my school friends and have made a new friend Talia that makes school so much fun. She even fed me my blueberries yesterday!

It was kite flying season and I had a great time flying kites, though it did not last too long because I figured the kites are easy to tear.
